Then he identifies his strengths and weaknesses.
He decides what to do to maximize his strengths and eliminate his weaknesses.
He is demanding, because he knows that every player is a reflection of the coach.
He disciplines with a firm hand but not to the point of hurt, because he knows the limits of the person.
He shows how it's done and provides the necessary tools for the job to be done.
He teaches.
He is a friend but not a buddy.
He helps the person achieve more than he could ever do alone.
Every father (and mother) is a coach.
Every husband (and wife) is a coach.
Every teacher is a coach.
Every boss is a coach.
Every pastor is a coach.
Every leader is a coach.
YOU are a coach — if not to another person, at least to yourself.
What kind of coach have you been?

This is so what the Sisterhood is about... thank you my love for writing such a beautiful, inspiring, and perfect description of what you're about to me!
This whole blog reflected exactly how Pastor is towards us and invest his time in us to help us grow. Loved the post Bishop Renato Cardoso. Thank You
It's true, one thing your blog made me realize is that in the sisterhood like Mrs. Cris said, we have a coach which is our Big sister, and in the Youth Group we have our Leader which is the Pastor, but then again also we as tribe leaders are coaches to the members, and then in our own lives, that was an eye opener, we have to learn to coach ourselves.
Thanks For the Post!!
yes i agree with Mrs, Cristiane Said.
thats what the sisterhood is all about. We have our big sister as a coach! and even ourselves are coaches to our own life.
Thanks for the post!
This is completely true! And like Mrs. Cristiane said, that's what the sisterhood is about. Our Big Sisters are like our coaches. Not only that, but our parents, teachers, pastors, peers. I want to be a coach, not only for myself, but for others aswell.
Bishop Renato,
This is compelling with oodles of sensational oomph!!
Take care.
And God is our coach! - Like the example you gave of how God is the one who already showed us "how it's done" so that we can know it's not too hard, we can do it, and He's there next to us all along.
reading this article made me think of someone who really believes in me...
It is true, we have a coach in our life.
whoa, this really makes us think. What kind of coach have we been. Thanks bishop Renato!
A Coach is all was pushing you to do better, and that’s what sisterhood is about….
When reading this I also immediately thought about the Sisterhood. Our big sisters are our coaches, and we are also each other's coach. But most importantly, this makes one stop and think about what kind of coach we ourselves have been... thanks for the post, it leaves us all with a lot to think about.
I agree with Mrs Cristian, our big sister are a very good sample of a coach, they dedicate time, to make us women of God.
This blog also make me think, what kind of coach or sample am I to other people?
Thanks BRC for this message.
Thanks for sharing the message Dear Bishop I was meditating of what kind of coach I am and I have to be more careful as I'm really open and very up kind of person and some times peoples get the conclusions I'm a buddy, I will definitely work on this not to the extremes but to the balance.
Thanks you. Graziela- Inglaterra- Edmonton
That is exactly what a coach is well at least a good one. He wants us to become better at whatever that may be.
This message was used in our youth group leaders meeting and it was most helpful. It really is important for us to have these qualities in order for us to be a the best 'coach' we can be.
Thanks for sharing!

This is really strong, It make me realize the importance of not only have a coach but been one. A coach will help you develop a specific action plan, stay on track, create tools for success, encourage and empower you to achieve your dreams and help unlock the greatness in you. Thank you Bishop, this will help me be a bless in people's life.
I like the way this message was said. I have never though of myself as coach.
But it also made me realise that I have to be a much better coach, because at the moment I am not being as strict as I should be.
It's true, every coach knows the players weakness and strength, etc. and What Sra. Cristiane said also. But what this post made me think about the how much we need to disciplined and to accept correction in order to become a better person.
SOLO CRECEREMOS RECONOCIENDO LA NECESIDAD QUE TENEMOS DE LA AYUDA DE PERSONAS QUIENES ESTAN A NIVEL SUPERIOR A LO NUESTRO EN TODOS LOS SENTIDOS. UNA BUENA PALABRA NUNCA SE PIERDE EN EL TIEMPO.
ESTE MENSAJE ME HÁ ENSEÑADO, GRACIAS.
Joining sisterhood is like a coach just like what is said above.
I personally think that one the most important coach is yourself. If you dont believe in yourself, then its like you can't do nothing. I just realised that everywhere I;ve gone, with people who teach me have had part in my coaching, eg my pr, he teaches ect to coach me.The way my life is now is a result of how I allowed my life to be coached
This is so true. So many times I have underestimated my role in society as a whole. I read this a long time ago and it hit me in the same way it hit me back then. I'm not taught things so I can just know things but for me to put them in practice... For me to see an injured sheep and say to myself this person is laughed at, mocked at, can't even pull together sentences that make sense so would this person be the perfect leader... The foolish things of this world God raises up to show the world he is not looking for people of condition but people of faith. A great leader once said to me "Simone, if you really want to be a leader stop looking for sheep and go and create shepards"
I agree with all the comments that was posted. But what is most important is that GOD is our coach because he is the one that leads us to the way we want us too, he helps us when we dont have ebough strength...but most important he showed us that we can be the coach to ourselfs meaning we can stand up and say we can do this but also helping other people that are around us. BE A COACH OF YOURSELF AND THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU.

Thank you Bishop Renato
Bishop i really love this post, i assosiated 'the coach' as to being a leader in the youth group. right now im in no position, but it still related to me for before i become a leader. a tribe has to reflect the leader, the leader is meant to know the strengths of the tribe for Eg.for competions if the tribe has a good singer or dancer. The leader has to push their tribe into doing things that is beyond what they think. A Leader has to bring out the best of their tribe and youoths,. This post has really helped me.
